Hi, I'm not sure if my last mail reached the mailing list, but recently we tried to integrate the status.net in our sites and have faced the problem of the missing ability to user non-latin characters for users, groups and groups alias. In a way it is very confusing for our users switching between different character system not to say the confusion in the search form. Additionally most of our account support non-latin characters. I red some of the mails, discussing the idea of making progress in this issue and we are ready to contribute if needed, because the present mix is making status.net, outstanding application as we found, a bit non-used properly. We wish to know f here is some new progress on this issue or direction, taken.
