Well, since the Observability plug-in has been already merged into the
trunk, most of the text in that document does not apply to it - the
checks and changes should have been done before merging. :)

We have noticed that the code of the plug-in is a bit messy, and I've
started a branch for cleaning it up. (It can be found here:
https://code.launchpad.net/~daggerstab/stellarium/observability-cleanup
, but a lot of the changes are preliminary and I have a lot of changes
locally that haven't been yet committed/pushed to the branch.) Anyway,
this is a topic for a separate thread.

Back to the topic, i.e. helping newbies: I've _started_ a "tips and
tricks" page on the Wiki:
http://www.stellarium.org/wiki/index.php/Tips_and_tricks_for_beginner_developers
For now, it's very basic.

I am also going to update some of the doxygen documentation pages
themselves, so someone will probably have to update the online
documentation after my next few commits. :)

Bogdan Marinov
