Which Solo firmware version do you have? (type ATI4 in a terminal program
to find out)

FYI, there is a slight problem in V2.00-V2.02 which has similar symptoms to
what you've described.  Basically, occasionally the Solo could "lock up"
when picking up or replacing a telephone handset on the same line.  This is
a rare occurance - it only happened to me a handful of times.  As you have
found, the only way to resolve the problem is to switch it off & on :(

I suggest that you try flashing to the latest firmware (V2.04).  I know
that Pace addressed this problem in V2.03.  See the URL below for the
flash upgrade...
