Thanks, I got some comment off-list that it hardcodes a dependency on quilt in the test suite. So I'll look into skipping those tests if it's not there. And eventually add some manual series creation to have some fallthrough testing.
I've also made some patches tackling the "stg pop --spill" suggestion made on the list some time ago. I'll post those soon.
