Mea culpa time. I just watched the Montoya video again, and I was not proud of my memory regarding grips. To hold a tooth chisel or a flat chisel, he recommends holding with the thumb and first finger pinching, all the other fingers wrapped around, except the small finger which goes underneath so the hairy bit is touching steel. I also misremembered about grip tightness. A pointer is held loosely, but a tooth and a flat chisel are held thightly to prevent twisting. AMY, I have the following catalogs.
