Tiranti's in Warren Street W1 did have a supply of
Soapstone before Christmas, I expect they still have
some or will be getting more.
Their telephone number is 0171 636 8565, they are also
suppliers of carving tools etc.
Another soft'ish stone that you might like to get hold
of is Totternhoe Clunch stone, which is a soft cream
coloured limestone. This was last available direct from
the merchants, unfortunately based out in
Northamptonshire. I don't have their number with me at
the moment, but if you are interested let me know and I
will fish it out.
