Hello: I'm new to this list, but I have been interested
in stone for several years now. In 1997 I found a
program offering a certificate in "Stone Carving and
Restoration" at the North Virginia Community Colleges -
Manassas Campus in their 1997-1998 catalog.
Although the catalog for this year does not offer this
program, you might contact them to see if they plan to
bring the program back in the future. The URL is below
for that 1997-1998 online catalog. I live in California
and during 1998, I believe, the instructor came to
California and offered a week-long course on stone
