I have read your reqest for info, and several of the
responses. I would be interested in knowing in what
state/province you live. I am the President of the
Ontario Stone Quarriers Association and we are always
interested in stone carvers and their needs. I haven't
heard the term "pipestone" ...... can you describe it
form me in some detail? Is it a form of marble or
limestone? Most of the stone our members quarry and/or
work with is for landscaping, paving, architectural
cladding (interior/exterior), etc., but we are beginning
to get inquiries from carvers, so any info you can
provide would be helpful.
Thanks.
