Hi Drew, I'm a Qpid-er who lurks on the Stonehenge lists.
There's some useful RAT info here: http://incubator.apache.org/rat/ On the RAT stuff, you'll find that it is expected that you run it before voting on an RC/askign the incubator board for votes on a release. This page says that it can be used to audit non-Java codebases. The license stuff is really helpful for a new project's first release attempt as the license stuff can be quite painful. http://code.google.com/p/arat/ Hth, Marnie On Wed, Apr 8, 2009 at 6:38 PM, Drew Baird (Volt) <[email protected]>wrote: > It looks like the RAT tool is actually in part a JAVA style checker like > FXCop in the DotNet world. > > Two Questions > Would it make more sense that FXCop be used at least in part instead of RAT > for M1? > What is the RAT process?
