My 'E' Votes resolves to 'D'.
I am all for a cleanup and simplification.

I removed large junks of content (mostly config based) from the original ST.
The readme was actually added as a place holder so that I was making minimal
structural changes to just get the code committed before Christmas break.
The design is very cumbersome to make changes so simplification is a VERY GOOD
Thing.
I simply don't care much about look and feel change - have fun.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by PHP and dot net are similar now?
The PHP that I'm looking at is a green interface with very nice compliant html.
The dotnet aspx pages are blue and are using tables galore? With the
exception of the Readme link on #2 all the menus are in the same order, as the
original.

I'm not trying to make any other projects change, nor am I trying to change the
content/layout of the pages, I'm simply trying to reskin the web interface
(header/footer/menu) and clean up the html.

For anyone who thinks it's not worth the effort we'll make that Vote E

E: Don't change the design

Is there a need to differentiate? While this woulf make us different from MSDN
ST we need to think about the fact PHP and dot net are similar now. If you do
this is will drive all the other ST (PHP, Ruby, JAVA) to change.

I don't have a strong feeling either way
