+1 Also at the risk of unduly influencing your design I would love to see the UI have everything I need to set up an endpoint but when I go to choose one I would love to see it be either a list where I can choose 1 item or something like a wizard where I can make choices and then incompatible options will be unavailable. Of course how to do that will be the hard part and may not be possible. I have been requesting that Microsoft make such a tool for WCF for years because all of the different configuration options and remembering what works with what options seems to be a major point of confusion for people just starting working with WCF web services.

In particular, I am interested in Ben's idea of a dotnet configuration service that uses the existing database tables. I was also thinking of designing a UI that allows the user to set up the configuration without going into the database. Let me know what you guys think. > > I look forward to working with all of you on Stonehenge! +1 Bye, -Chintana -- http://engwar.com/
