@Darren: Unmask Parasites work with "404 error" pages. Just specify
any non-existent URL.

@gramakant: You can check "404 error" pages yourself. There is usually
only one 404 template per site and you only need to check one page (in
addition to the normal web pages' checks). Make sure to turn off
javascript and and embedded objects if you check web pages in your web
browser.

In addition to "404 error" templates you might also want to
check .htaccess files (if your web server is Apache), as hackers may
insert conditional redirects there.

Another thing you may consider is loading your site from some another
computer (or just clean cookies in your web browser). Search for your
site on Google (site:yoursite.com) and click on search result. This
trick can reveal nasty redirects if someone tries to highjack your
search engine traffic. (Site owners usually don't see such redirects
because malicious scripts know how to distinguish "frequent" site
visitors from first-time visitors).

Hackers constantly invent new tricks. Who knows what else you should
look for when checking your web pages in a few months or weeks...

Hope, your site will not have security issues any more, but if have
some doubts you can start your investigation with my Unmask Parasites
tool. It will provide you with a convenient presentation of all
external references found on your web pages, so that you, as a site
owner, can easily identify entries that don't belong to your site.
