Onslaught Meanwhile, the United States has evacuated its embassy in the capital Skopje of all "non-emergency" personnel. The British Foreigh Office has said all Britons already in Macedonia should consider leaving immediately. Skopje is reported to be quiet today after President Boris Trajkovski appealed for calm. But even as he spoke, the Macedonian army continued its onslaught against ethnic Albanian rebels.
