If memory serves you can tune per device type you could change the conf file. I know that isn't doc'd or mentioned very often but it's possible.



I don't think you should be looking at those defaults as being too long
or too short for a fabric which operates at a certain speed. Unless you
have specific concerns which are backed up by empirical data then it
should be unnecessary to change.


Most of the time people want to make asymmetric devices fail over faster. The issue with this is that if you tune them down too low you won't see the failed over LUN because the controller hasn't had time to make the switch.
