Hi Eric,

I understand. If it happens again, and you're able to get a core dump, I'd like to know.

I looked based on the information provided, and I have an idea of what may have happened. A quick search did not turn up any open bugs against a similar issue.

Unfortunately, without a core file or a repeatable process, it will be difficult to determine root cause.

In the meantime, if you happen to still have the messages file from when this occurred, please send it to me.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,
I did not get a core dump when the event occurred. This is a busy production database server running a large Postgres instance, so I am not able to do any experimentation. This is the first time anything like this has happened since the server was deployed. It has not happened again since yesterday morning.

# modinfo | grep emlxs
93 ffffffffefad7000 23a300 79 1 emlxs (SunFC emlxs FCA v20060302-2.10h)

Eric
