Hello Rick,
As soon as I have remote access to the machine again I will do
that ;-) For some reason the remote console is not working (hate
those X2100M2 ILO's) and the SSH deamon failed to start after a reboot.
Met vriendelijke groet / Kind Regards,

hi list,
I now have a ZFS volume (zvol) of 4G that I'm exporting using
iSCSI. The iSCSI target is mounted on the same machine, formatted
with UFS and used as the zonepath for an lx zone. Now I've
installed the lx zone using the centos tarball from the Brandz
project. Installation of the zone takes forever compared to local
fs but the zone works perfectly.
After booting the zone and setting up networking I'm not able to
complete a 'yum update'. All packages are downloaded perfectly but
the 'yum' process will stop installing at some point in time and
appear to hang. After killing it and starting yum again it will
progress about 10 packages more. When doing the exact same thing
on an UFS backend (UFS volume, iSCSI target, mountlocally, setup
lx zone) it works, although even slower.
Could you run pstack on the 'yum' process. Let's start to find out
where the process is currently stopped.
Any clues?
