Hello Today, we've been trying the Solaris Express build 54 iscsitarget with the Microsoft initiator v2 running on WinXP, and we are seeing the same problem. No sooner has it connected, then it drops. It retries afew times, then gives up. This test was with real hardware, not vmware. We used a Sun Ultra-20 for Solaris and a Dell PC for WinXP, with a direct Ethernet connection.
I've captured an Ethereal trace and posted it to http://www.nwsmith.net/solaris/iscsi.cap Ethereal shows WinXP sending a 'Report LUNs' command with option 'Select All LUNS (0x00)', then solaris replies with an ACK packet, and waits one second, and then solaris send a FIN,ACK packet to tear down the connection. Rick, I guess we will just have to be patient with this problem, and wait till it gets to the top of your to-do list.
