So I just purchased an AoC-SAT2-MV8 so that I could have native sata support. The motherboard is a DFI LANPARTY UT SLI-DR. Previously I had my sata drives hooked up to the onboard sil3112 sata controller. I installed the AOC, hooked up the sata drives to it, and now the system hangs when coming up. It gets to the hostname screen and never continues beyond that point. I can ping the box, and the keyboard is still active (IE: numlock/capslock still turn on/off), but I cannot ssh in or do much of anything with the box. If I have no drives plugged in to the controller, it will boot OK.
As for what the drives are doing, I have 4 sata drives and 3 ata drives in a raid-z pool. Suggestions?
