I have a question that I hope that somebody can answer or at least point me in
the right direction.

Here is what I am trying to do and my current setup. I have a server with 2
Sun Quad Gigabit cards installed. The server needs to access disk space on an
Equallogic ISCSI SAN. I have comfigured CE0 with an ip of 10.50.227.1 and CE5
with an ip of 10.50.227.2.
I have then set on the server iscsiadm modify initator-node -c
10.50.227.1,10.50.227.2

What happens is that half the time the two connections are on the same ip
address and the 50% of the time one connections is on the .1 and the other on
the .2 which is what I want.

A sun tech told me that I have to have the ip addresses on different subnets
and that it is not reliable with both of them on the same subnet.

Is this true?

I would appreciate any feed back
