Thats too bad. I really liked what dladm was moving toward. Another option with CE NICs is/was Sun Trunking. Its similiar to some of the dladm features.
Sun Trunking Description: Sun Trunking 1.3 software allows you to aggregate up to four Sun GigabitEthernet adapter card ports or up to sixteen 10/100 Sun FastEthernet adapter card ports into a single virtual link or trunk. Once aggregated, these point-to-point links act as a single "fat pipe" to provide increased bandwidth and high availability, enabling higher aggregated data transfer rates than any single Sun GigabitEthernet or FastEthernet adapter card link. Here is a blog outlining its setup, http://vegdave.wordpress.com/2006/12/02/finding-nemo-a-learning-journey-about-trunking-on-solaris-10/ This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ storage-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/storage-discuss
