Hi Liujun,
The group I am part of works on SAS mpxio.

We support mpxio for SAS if you are using the
mpt driver and either

- Solaris Nevada, or
- Solaris 10 Update 4 + the patch which should be
   released in about 6 weeks or so.


(I integrated the changes we need for this into Solaris
10 Update 5 last weekend).

Expanders don't belong to a host - they don't respond
to the standard SCSI INQUIRY(6) command. We do have
plans to provide access to expanders, but those plans
have not yet solidified.


What other questions do you have about SAS multipathing?
