There will be a new version of the Solaris SAN Configuration and Multipathing Guide published on docs.sun.com, but I do not know when it will appear. In the meantime, yes, mpathadm will work with your mpt-controller SAS HBAs, and you should use the stmsboot(1m) command for configuring MPxIO. We have not released the patches for Solaris 10 support yet, and while I expect them to be available quite soon, I don't have a date for them. You will know if you have support for MPxIO on mpt-attached SAS HBAs because the stmsboot(1m) command has been updated to take an argument of "-D mpt" -- if you see that mentioned in the help text/usage message for the command, then you can start using MPxIO on those HBAs. best regards, James C.
