I finally had success with the iscsi initiator on the OSX 10.5. I used the product from Ardis Technologies:: http://www.ardistech.com/main.html?id=13&lang=
It worked perfect out of the box.... I was able to mount and format the disk. I have no need for the Initiator from GlobalSAN. I do not mind running tests and snoop if people wish to further troubleshoot GlobalSAN. If not - I will remove it.
