Basically,

I just want to re-iterate that all of my data is on the original 3 drives and 
should be totally recoverable, except since there were errors detected on the 
USB drives, ZFS is making the whole pool unavailable.

I think if we can force the separation of the USB drives from the pool, or 
force ZFS to accept the "corrupt data" as meaningless because there is no real 
data on the "corrupted" drives.   Nothing but metadata and such should've been 
written on the USB drives.

Ideas?  I just don't think this is a lost cause.  I KNOW my data is there, it's 
just forcing ZFS to read it.
