i'm also having the same problem, but have not yet found a solution. I'm using 
snv_82 and unable to copy read-only attribute set files from Vista to snv_82 
with CIFS using xcopy. As i use xcopy for read-only photos backup from Fista, 
this is causing me some problems! I am not sure what else i can try...
