I have also experienced the problem, except after applying this patch my x4600 would no longer boot (panics stream down the screen and of course there is no dump file since it appears that there was a disk driver problem - I saw "mpt" all over the place). I had to go into failsafe and remove the patch and everything went back to normal.
PS - can anyone email me some docs or information on how to set this up on a solaris 10x86 host? we want to test this storage array for some small 250gb oracle databases which will be directly attached to the oracle server via SAS.
