Hey folks,

I'm trying to test the Solaris CIFS server, so downloaded the latest version I
could get my hands on: snv_82. I think I have the CIFS server running, but I
had problems with one part of the setup and I can't authenticate from windows
clients.

The instructions list the following commands:
# sharectl set -p ads_domain=domain-name smb
# sharectl set -p ads_enable=true smb

Both of these fail with the messages:
ads_domain: not defined
ads_enable: not defined

I also had this warning message when starting the service:
# svcadm enable -r smb/server
svdadm: svc:/milestone/network depends on svc:/network/physical, which has
multiple instances.

Other than that everything looked fine. Joining the domain was no problem, and
creating the shares in ZFS also appears ok. Can anybody help me get this
working?
