You are correct in that the answer is no.

As each end of the replica is configured, or restore at boot time from  
persistent data, the hostname:volume name pair determines whether one  
end of the replica is primary or secondary. With the hostname being  
the same, this determination can not be made.

Using xVM, it is possible to support multiple Solairis instances on  
the same system.
