Thanks for all the answers. What I'm probably refering to is wiki called "Home NAS with OpenSolaris".
Which starts with assembling hardware, putting OS on it and so on... Enabling CIFS/SMB... I'm trying to put it together (it's in German http://schlaepfer.nine.ch/twiki/bin/view/Schlaepfer/SelfMadeNas) Guess all the parts are somewhere available, but not together. Maybe I'm wrong...
