We have the same issue on a Windows host with a Qlogic 4060C. Once the card goes online (can be pinged), I immediately see processor and memory usage start to climb on the Solaris box (build 82), until the target system is completely exhausted of resources.
I use the same initiator machine with the MS software iscsi initiator (2.07 and previous 2.06) against the same target. But when I tried to swap out the software based initiator for the hardware Qlogic HBA, my problems started--and indeed were so bad I had to give up for now. Any ideas why this might be happening?
