Nigel, In the thread
http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=167293 You mentioned that a bug (about NOP IN) was eventually fixed in the linux iscsi initiator, do you know what version of linux has the fix? As I am testing with VMWare ESX3.5 iscsi initiator, it seems they still have this problem, receiving unexpected opcode (0x60) which is NOP IN with immediate flag set. The kernel name, version and release for the VMWare ESX3.5 are: Linux 2.4.21-47.0.1.ELvmnix #1 Tue Mar 18 18:07:00 PDT 2008 Thanks, Victor Nigel Smith wrote: > This thread: > http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=167293𨵽 > ...reported runaway memory consumption on the Solaris iscsi target. > > The put back for that bug: > http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6650581 > was snv_85. > > So maybe that is why Andrew (snv_87) is ok, > and John (snv_82) is having a problem. > > A snoop capture of iscsi network traffic would help to confirm. > Regards > Nigel Smith > > > This message posted from opensolaris.org > _______________________________________________ > storage-discuss mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/storage-discuss > _______________________________________________ storage-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/storage-discuss
