You mentioned that a bug (about NOP IN) was eventually fixed in the 
linux iscsi initiator, do you know what version of linux has the fix?
As I am testing with VMWare ESX3.5 iscsi initiator, it seems they still 
have this problem, receiving unexpected opcode (0x60) which is NOP IN 
with immediate flag set. The kernel name, version and release for the 
VMWare ESX3.5 are:

Linux
2.4.21-47.0.1.ELvmnix
#1 Tue Mar 18 18:07:00 PDT 2008
