yeah - it's also a bit confusing getting notificaitons via the web and the forum too... it's a bit funky to follow the discussion sometimes (especially with multiple new posts)
anyway it sounds like the PCIe card will work, maybe i will manually plug in each drive and make note the device name and slot number at install time; then i only have to take note on the new device number when a device fails it sounds like.
