A means to assist us in diagnosing the failure, is to run "snoop -d  
<Ethernet device> -o <filename>". If it all possible, do this on a  
quite TCP/IP network, or for just as long as the Citrix xenserver is  
attempting to connect, two thing will will limit the snoop output.  
Then Gzip and Tar, the resulting output file, and then just send it to  
me only. I can then run WireShark on the collected snoop output file,  
seeing what SCSI Inquiry data looks like.

I see that you are using an "Opensolaris iscsi target", but you failed  
to mention the base level or version number. If you have not updated  
recently, past month or so, please update to a recent OpenSolaris  
distribution:  http://opensolaris.org/os/downloads/
