Hello, i try to run an Opensolaris iscsi target against a commercial instance of Citrix xenserver.
Things were working fine, until Citrix decided to change some sort of discovery from "LUNid to SCSIid". At this point the Solaris but also the OSS iET did not work anymore. The OSS-iET looks to be working again. Citrix states that this is a bug that has to be fixed on the Solaris side, unfortunatly i have no detailed information until now about the real nature of the problem, but am awaiting a more detailed report from the vendor. My question is, is there any standard/rfc that defines the SCSIid (for an iscsi export?) My example iscsi SCSIid looks incredibly "long", compared to other vendor SCSIids i have seen.
