Follow up: I noticed in package manager that I have installed SUNWndmp version 0.5.11-0.86, packaged on April 26, 2008. If I load http://pkg.opensolaris.org/status in my webbrowser, I noticed multiple later versions of this package. Package manager claims otherwise, that the April 26th version is the latest. When attempting to install the latest FMRI SUNWndmp package using:
pfexec pkg install pkg:/[EMAIL PROTECTED],5.11-0.101:20081104T023852Z It complains that this package conflicts with constraint in installed pkg:/entire: Pkg SUNWndmp: Optional min_version: 0.5.11,5.11-0.86 max version: 0.5.11,0.5-11-0.86 defined by pkg:entire. If I issue a pkg contents -r, the contents of the November 4th package appears, so the newer package does exist. Is this a limitation of OpenSolaris (I installed off a Live CD) or is there something screwy going on with the pkg.opensolaris.org repository? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ storage-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/storage-discuss
