Zhong, I tried promiscuous mode on the adapter but still no luck. BTW, I'm using a Nexus 5K switch that uses pre-T11 fcoe frame format. Would that affect operation?

It seems FCoE initiator sent out FLOGI but never got an ACC. I doubt there is some problem in the multi-address support in ixgbe driver. Let's try promiscuous mode by running "snoop -d ixgbe0" in the background, shutdown eth1/11 and then open it up so that the initiator could restart the login process. I'll take a look to see what's going on. Any notes available for the SUNWfctl - leadville PLOGI to FCoE target issue workaround. You don't need that if you are testing FCoE to FCoE. But if you are using Leadville FC initiator, you need to apply the package on the initiator host, otherwise the FC initiator may not log in to FCoE nodes.
