I built a system with snv_104 which, I presume, contains Tim's fix from b102?
SunOS SUNDEV 5.11 snv_104 i86pc i386 i86pc
The relevant SUNWiscsitgtr:
PKGINST: SUNWiscsitgtr
NAME: Sun iSCSI Target (Root)
CATEGORY: system
ARCH: i386
VERSION: 11.11,REV=2008.11.26.22.34
BASEDIR: /
VENDOR: Sun Microsystems, Inc.
DESC: Sun iSCSI Target
PSTAMP: elpaso20081126224042
INSTDATE: Dec 14 2008 13:12
HOTLINE: Please contact your local service provider
STATUS: completely installed
I then build a LUN (zfs) and point two Windows 2008 Servers at it. I run
cluster config verifier and it fails the Persistent Reservation test. I should
mention I have no trouble accessing the LUN from either W2K8 host - can NTFS
initialize it, read/write data all of these operations work great. It just will
not pass the Cluster Verifier.
Are there any options that need to be specified for the iscsi target on the Sun
side?
Sign me mystified and thanks for any advice/assistance
Brad
