Hi Frank,
To followup on Nigel's reply, there is a possibility that there is
already an iSCSI Target Daemon core file in the root (/) directory of
your system. A means to find this out is to look in the root directory
for a file of the type core*, and if present, see if this file is of
the type 'iscsitgtd'. This can can be determined by using the the
Solaris 'file' utility against the core file itself.
# file /core*
You can use 'mdb' as Nigel responded, or can send it to me for
analysis. To do so, rename the file to 'frankgrimes97_core.iscsitgt',
upload the file as per https://supportfiles.sun.com/upload, on "Step
2" select cores, and when complete send me an email.
FWIW: I just tried using OSX GlobalSAN using CHAP on Build 106,
including setting various chap names and secrets, without issue.
Thanks,
Jim Dunham
