G'day m8's. :) Would anyone happen to have any suggestions for a nice NAS/fileserver case? I'm probably only going to use 6 3.5" inch bays for this build, but I'd like something that's got plenty of room for expansion... so the more bays the better. Size isn't an issue. Hot-swap bays would be nice, but not a deal-breaker. An insulated case that doesn't turn the box into an oven would be nice, too; but again, it's not a deal-breaker.
Also, I was planning on building this thing around an AMD Phenom II 940 cpu (quad), only because I got one for free. I don't see it on the HCL yet, but I'm not anticipating any problems. Is this a bad idea? Ridiculous overkill? I figured it wouldn't be too bad since the thing underclocks itself as low as 800mhz to conserve power when it's not being used. Using this free chip should let me load the box with a few more sticks of RAM, too.
