There is a "mind change" in using COMSTAR iSCSI. With COMSTAR iSCSI,
one normally creates one SCSI Target for the whole target system. In
other words, there is very rarely any reason to run "itadm
create-target" more than once. Each initiator system thus sees the
same SCSI target. The storage administrator then uses Views to control
which LUs are visible through that SCSI Target, which can be
completely different for each initiator.
Yes, I understand. And I speak here about targets, not LUNs. In my
situation I have one system serving 2 isolated segments, so I have 2
target portals. And I don't want initators from one segment
"see/discover" targets bound to another segment. But when I use
SendTargets discovery method every initiator sees all targets.
