Do you know the CR numbers for this issue off the top of your head? This is a production issue for us as well and we'd like to try and file a contract support request against it.
Mirrors would not solve our issue anyways as the unreliable part is the iSCSI controller (of which the low-end storage device has only one) unless we decided to mirror across two independent arrays.
