I am also having the same issue. Turning off ZIL does not seem to help much
either. Enabling fast write ack does not improve the iSCSI performance. I had
yet to see if COMSTAR with b115 or later will be any different. Had anyone
filed a ticket? Does anyone have a proven solution to get around this problem.
It seems to be a major issue for anyone who is using iSCSI target on
OpenSolaris. My iSCSI performance with 2009.06 is about 45M for read and 4M
for write on a pair of SATA II drives configured as mirror. Thanks!
