I have an LSI 8308elp card connected to 8 disks, which have two zpools on them. I want to configure the card so that I can access these zpools, but I can't figure out how to create volumes without wiping the disks. I read the manual for MegaCli [1], and it appears that it may be possible to create single-disk raid 0 arrays through that interface. However, MegaCli on my machine reports that there are no adapters installed. How can I make this controller function with ZFS?
Any suggestions for diagnostics I can run or programs I should try are welcome. Thanks!
