I use it at home to back up a bunch of Macs to my OpenSolaris box. It's worked perfectly for a few months now. The software itself is free, but they charge by the GB for using their servers. If you have a bunch of data to back up, you'd be best off finding a friend and swapping space with them. It'll take a while to get the initial backup running (100 Kbps ~= 1 GB/day, that should make your math pretty easy), but after that incrementals are fast. I've backed my laptop up from random hotel rooms while traveling without ever noticing any kind of delay. It Just Works.
