The workarounds noted in the bug notes did not work for myself and various
other people who posted. I haven't heard of any true fixes for this issue
with the older LSI controllers yet.. only fix I've found is to replace it
with a new controller. ;( We've swapped our SAS3xxx's for SAS9xxx's.. in
my case the SAS9211-8i's; I believe you would need the SAS9200-8e.
If anyone is aware of fixes for the 3800's, I'd love to hear about it -
we've still got a pile of them on a shelf. ;)
