@erast -- thanks for the suggestion. After the upgrade, the behavior is defiantly changed. Overall speed seems reduced, however the lockups are not yet anywhere to be found under the same conditions -- large file serial I/O workloads with gzip-9 and deduplication enabled.
I have searched for releases notes but cannot find them.
