Unfortunately there is no driver for the Sil3531 in Solaris. We only
support the Sil3132.

Hi,
I bought a PCIe x1 SATA controller card with SIL3531 chipset. The controller is
recognized by opensolaris but the hard disk (WD RE3) isn't displayed by 'format
-e'. It works when connected to the onboard SATA controller.
I tried
# modinfo
but wasn't able to spot the controller - not sure whether I was looking for the
right entry though, I didn't find an entry for the onboard controller either.
Below are outputs from scanpi and prtconf.
Any thoughts?
