Folks, I am running OpenIndiana. The hardware supports hot-swapping disks.
To test if FMA reports disk failures, I yanked a disk out. However, "#fmadm faulty" does not show anything even after waiting for 15 minutes. Is there some other utility I could use to detect disk failure? I would put together a cron job to inform when the disk fails. Thank you in advance for your help.
