It's ok, this is normal. Stormix applied a framebuffer patch to the linux
kernel to accomplish that feat. You'd need to apply the exact same patch for
it to continue to work. I think there are options for this when you do a
make (x)(menu)config provided you use the kernel source from Stormix and not
kernel.org.

Quite frankly, it's not a big issue for me. I can see more information
without the screen but everyone's choice varies.
