Well, I am on my knees. Truly humbled by Linux, even using either Enlightenment or KDE. I am using a AMD K2/350 with 48Mb RAM and a 13.6Gb Maxtor Diamondmax+ HD. Win98 is in a 5Gb partition at the start of the disk, with a 4.6Gb Linux partition right behind it. the rest are 2 DOS data drives. My version of Storm came with Linux Journal, and seems to have the older LILO as it wants the kernel to be closer to the start of the drive than it is. Exactly where do I upload a copy of LILO that is current, and I hear circumvents the problem. How do I install it? How do I create a boot floppy? What the heck will teach this Win98 power user how to run KDE or Enlightenment? I really like E, it is by far the coolest desktop I could imagine. I have already read the "idiots guide v2".
